Comparing the Differences Between a Compact Temporary Tire and a Full-Size Variety

Replacing a worn-out spare tire in your vehicle poses a couple of different options to select from. Depending on the make and model of vehicle that you have, your decision may already be made up for you. If you have options, here are your two main types of spare tires.

A compact temporary is something you'll usually find in the trunk of a sedan. It's essentially a miniature version of your regular tire. You'll need to head to a service center quickly if you have one of these on your vehicle.

The full-size spare is great for larger vehicles that can store it with ease. It can be placed on your vehicle and driven on for many miles. Just make sure that you're keeping up with checking the tire pressure of your spare. This will ensure it's ready to go.
